Junior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer with 2+ years of US-based experience in electrical design for commercial, healthcare, residential, hospitality, and restaurant projects.

In this role, you will support the design and development of electrical systems, working closely with senior engineers to deliver coordinated, code-compliant building power and lighting solutions.

Job Responsibilities :

Design electrical power distribution systems, including service sizing and load calculations
Prepare one-line diagrams and electrical equipment layouts
Design lighting systems, including fixture selection and control strategies
Design fire alarm systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards
Design emergency power systems, including generator sizing and emergency equipment selection
Apply knowledge of grounding and bonding systems
Perform load calculations and power calculations as required
Work independently or as part of a team to meet tight project deadlines
Coordinate with other disciplines as needed for integrated design delivery

Job Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of electrical engineering experience in building systems
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Knowledge of fault current calculations and selective coordination for protective devices
Understanding of lightning protection systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage responsibilities independently and handle sensitive project information
