Junior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer with 2+ years of US-based experience in HVAC and Plumbing design across commercial, healthcare, residential, hospitality, and restaurant projects. Exposure to fire protection design will be an added advantage.

In this role, you will support the design and development of mechanical systems from concept through documentation, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams on coordinated building projects.

Job Responsibilities :

Assist in HVAC system design, including heat load calculations, ventilation analysis, ductwork, and piping layouts
Design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary/vent, and storm drainage systems
Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection requirements with other disciplines
Communicate with vendors and clients regarding equipment specifications and project schedules
Prepare design basis reports, cost estimates, and comparison studies for MEP system alternatives
Support development of coordinated design drawings and project documentation

Job Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of mechanical engineering experience in building systems
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC load calculation tools (Carrier HAP /Trane Trace)
Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing design fundamentals
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight project schedules
Strong communication and coordination skills
